Liv to run

Lots of random ranting, whining, and attempts at being humourous as I run, run, run in pursuit of higher mileage and better races.

ARG!

For those who've been following along, you might remember (it seems like aeons ago) my New Year's Resolution to run 1000km this year. 2007 approacheth at lightning speed it seems, and while I'm trying my darndest to log them all in, at the moment all I have to say is one thing:

Crap.

Why do I make myself answerable to such things?

1000km or not, just think of how much better you are for even getting close to your goal. You've inspred me this year, Liv.

    Stay tuned...

620 miles eh? It's good to set your goals a little out of reach and if you reach them it is that much better. Good luck on getting as close as possible.

Geez, you've gone over 700 km already!!!!!!!!!!! That is like 400 miles, that is like the distance from, I dunno, New York to Maine (roughly). Like Vancouver to Calgary! Like, That is pretty darn far!

I say get a pedometer and wear it all day and count that as kilometrage (do you say that?). But regardless of "that number" you have run a long way this year!

That's crazy that you posted that...this morning (while running a 5k) I thought about your goal and how next year I was gonna do the same thing...that's just WEIRD!

I know you can do it!!! Just sub that 2nd trip to the gym for another 45 laps...lol (you always amaze me when it gets cold outside and you start telling of tales of running for hours on an indoor track!)

    Good luck to you!

I don't think we're thinking straight on Jan 1. We say the most ridiculous things; we should not be held accountable to declarations on that day.

If you want you will do it. You are still on time. Make a plan.

Shame that being indoors you won't be using Garmin... can I use yours? Mine died :(
